Un rendez-vous unique dédié à l’océan

Held every year in Trébeurden, the International Festival of Film and Images of the Marine World highlights the beauty and fragility of our blue planet. The festival program includes film screenings, photography and innovation competitions, conferences, workshops and meetings, all designed to raise awareness among audiences of all ages about the challenges of ocean preservation.

Explore, understand and protect

Each edition focuses on a strong central theme. In 2025, “Sunken Treasures” invites audiences to dive into the mysteries of underwater heritage. Beyond wonder and discovery, the festival emphasizes the urgent need to protect marine ecosystems threatened by plastic pollution, climate change and the overexploitation of resources.

Competitions showcasing talent

Open to both professionals and amateurs, the festival highlights the richness and diversity of marine environments.

  • Photography competition: an artistic and committed perspective on the ocean and its biodiversity.
  • Marine and underwater innovation competition: technical or citizen-led solutions to better understand and protect the sea.
