Un rendez-vous unique dédié à l’océan

Held every year in Trébeurden, the International Festival of Film and Images of the Marine World highlights the beauty and fragility of our blue planet. The festival program includes film screenings, photography and innovation competitions, conferences, workshops and meetings, all designed to raise awareness among audiences of all ages about the challenges of ocean preservation.

Explore, understand and protect

Each edition revolves around a central theme. In 2026, the “Fous de mer” invite everyone to celebrate all those who explore, tell stories about, protect, and dream of the sea. Beyond simply inspiring wonder, the festival serves as a reminder of how urgent it is to protect marine ecosystems threatened by plastic pollution, climate change, and the over-exploitation of resources.

Competitions showcasing talent

Open to both professionals and amateurs, the festival showcases the richness and diversity of the ocean floor.

  • Photography competition: an artistic and committed perspective on the ocean and its biodiversity.
  • Marine and underwater innovation competition: technical or citizen-led solutions to better understand and protect the sea.
