KRESK 4 OCEANS is an endowment fund created by the KRESK Group and its brands (SVR and Lazartigue) with the objective of developing projects and funding non-profit organizations committed to actively fighting marine pollution.

More than 8 million tons of plastic are discharged into the Ocean every year*, representing 400 kg per second. Our priority is to stem this flow of plastic into the Ocean by supporting innovative solutions from design through to the end of the plastic lifecycle.

Even if no more plastic were to enter the Ocean, the amount of microplastics is expected to double by 2050*. It is therefore essential to better understand the impact of plastic and its contaminants on marine biodiversity in order to better protect it in the future.*

If we want our actions to be sustainable, it is essential to educate people, especially future generations, about new consumption patterns in order to prevent marine pollution.
Because a healthy ocean is essential to planetary balance, it has become urgent to develop solutions that help us understand the changes it is facing and to halt the decline threatening the largest ecosystem on our planet.

Since 2017, François Gabart has been the fastest skipper around the world. This exceptional sailor has become aware of the richness and fragility of the ocean as he has crisscrossed the globe’s seas. With the creation of KRESK 4 OCEANS, of which he is the ambassador, he has found a way to give meaning to his profession that is in line with his values. Today, he sails around the world, spreading the message that we must respect and protect the oceans.
